That's the same technique I used to make a roll of camo netting.I was just playing around and gave it a shot.Instead of tissue however,I used medical gauze.
also very smart. You're both very right- you should just play and try with it a little bit, be creative. This usually brought me to the best results as well!
So,has anybody decided on what they are going to build? With such a wide open subject anything is possible.I have a 1/35 Tamiya Horch in the stash I've been itching to do something with.
So, is everybody now sitting at home with a kit ready, waiting impatiently for 1st November? I certainly am.
Considering how wide open this subject is,I'm having trouble deciding.I'm just not sure what I want to do.
An easy way to find something is to go to Squadron.com or any other online hobby store and when you go to the search index, type "captured". There are several kits on the market now that are feature captured versions. I finally made my decision and got my order placed today. Should we tell/post pics of the kit we will use or should we keep it a secret untill the last day of the build? Might be somewhat intrigueing if nobody knows what the others are doing until the last minute. No dioramas, correct?
OK,I've settled on a kit I have in the stash.I also saw a figure kit that could augment it's captured status.Goody, goody! Unfortunately,Boba Nette won't be participating in GBIV.She has other things of some import she wants to concentrate on.Our wedding is one of them. The nerve of that girl!
Also, for those wishing to participate in GBIV,check the first page of posts in this topic to refresh yourselves on the guidelines/rules for this particular build.Good luck all.
