    M-103

5 man crews perform better in combat than 4 man crews thus giving them the edge with regards speed and observation.

Plus it's the heavier tank so it would presumbly be bettered armoured.

Finally I would never be able get the T-10 working as I wouldn't be able to read the manual.

    T-10M

Better mobility, longer range, better design (as in the shape, height etc) and (as far as I know) without the constant mechanical problems of the M103

I think I would go for the T-10M myself. Not as cumbersome, easier to transport around the place. Better range and it's track record seems better compared to the M-103.

Though having said that as cool and menacing looking that they both are, the M-103 in the right colour scheme would make for an interesting vehicle.

How did it fare in Marine Corps service ? As I remember reading that it was not phased out of Marine service until the early 1970s.

Those specs are surely wrong for the T-10M
    Weight of only 36t

It's was a heavy weight tank these specs make it look like the ugly and nastier brother of the T-34!

    Weight of the T-10M was 51.5t (T-10 was 50)
    Range 350Km (T-10 200Km)
    Max Speed 50 (T-10 42Km/h)

    M103A2 (also a modification!)
    Weight 58t
    Range 480km (M103 130 km)
    Max Speed 37 km/h (M103 40 km/h)

I would definitely go for the M103A2 as it's newer (not an upgrade of the IS3!!), beter range, suspension, optics, electronics etc. etc.
