    More about the psychology of youth here I think...
    Around manhood...this can be 12-18....the son naturally questions everything he's been told, and tries to better it, usually just changes it...it's an out with the old in with the new mentality...it's entirely natural and is what drives us forward...well,it's supposed to. If a party or person can harness this at the right time, you have a convert...religion uses this...the military uses this...

    I couldn't take anymore of his rhetoric and unfriended him on Facebook. It was getting too much and he was quite a frequent poster.

    There is also a handy little unfollow button. You can remain friends but their posts won't show up in your feed. Works well when you have family, friends or coworkers that would be awkward to unfriend.
