Pure fantasy, The cast is horrible and the skull isn't even symetrical. The kind of "tourist toys" made in eastern Europe and flooding the world. Sold for a few euros so some people think they have made a "bargain".

Real rings were usually made from silver with proper jewelry markings , not a bad quality metal. I'm sorry for the desillusion, . You may want to check whether the skull was added with a lead welding instead of silver .

The SS Honor Ring had no "jewelry markings" did it?

Not always , some were made with noble metal , others not, but top quality. was a criteria.. Regarding ss memorillia 99% of objects on the collector market are fakes I'm afraid. if you need accurate documentation, I suggest you buy the Heimdal book the Black Order. they have some great looking rings displayed among many other objects. They even have mannequins with white uniforms for waiters etc..

I suggest you show some respect for Skipper, who is one of the most knowledgeable militaria collectors on this forum. If you are an expert on these why do you come to a public forum and ask people you don't know know authenticate this?

At least attempting to use standard English is also a good idea.

"Skipper" can go find a boat and sink it! He comes right off the bat with bs and then contradicts Himself on sumthing he clearly dont know. Now you want me to respect that, I dont think so. I dont know it all when it comes to SS Honor Rings but I already have learned more than "Skipper" tries to put off. Its ppl like that who put out miss information to "newbies" thats how we lose valuable historical items! I will not Respect that. "Skipper" should have enough Respect for these types things to back up and learn little more than keep trying to prove himself right.

I can verify the ring is a 100% real object that does in fact exist. If you desire full verification, I can provide a certificate of authenticiy in my own handwriting on a partially used napkin and send it to you. Please send a self addressed stamped envelope to me and I'll send it right over. There is of course a minor fee of $440 USD, but this is a small investment compared to the comfort that only such certainty provides. Please make the check payable to "Otto's Nazi Validation & Karate Supplies LLC." I'll keep an eye out for your letter and let you know when your check clears.

@Gravediggerga I really like your username. I might be off on the intent of your handle, but the raiding of a soldiers resting place for his militaria is a real spiffy hobby.

Thanks for the distraction in this time of crazy. Nice to see another 14 year old expert putting us old-timers in our place.

I apologize. I should have noticed that you're an expert on Third Reich militaria, as is evidenced by the fact that you used the official, exclusive, limited edition, Stormfront-approved Office Depot ® "SS-Ehrenring Holder"(also known to us peons as a "Office Depot® Brand Large Binder Clip") in your photos.

But hey, at least something in that photo has monetary value. At $3.79 USD a box, these clip ain't cheap and are undoubtedly worth more than the "Ehrenring".

Maybe the ring has a decoder mechanism to translate Ultra messages. That would enhance its value, wouldn't it?
