A post was recently shared on Facebook by Telus which lists the names of 117,000 of Canada's War Dead. I though it would be appropriate to share it here.

I should clarify that my intent to post the listing was not re the Telus offer of charity contributions, but that is the first time I have seen a comprehensive list of all the war dead from Canada's first overseas mission in the late 1800s to that of Afghanistan in the 21st century. It also includes those lost in Korea and on Peace Keeping missions. The Books of Remembrance in the Peace Tower and which are available online also have alphabetical lists but are listed together under subdivisions of the time period such as WWI. Commonwealth War Graves Commission also has a searchable database.
