    Are their WDs open and available for public?

    If so can someone tell, were to find them or whom to contact

    Thanks will check it out, but notice some comments, that it is better to hire someone to get copies rather then getting from NARA, themselves

    Depends. I'd get a quote from NARA first, then shop around.

    If you go to the link I provided, it talks about requesting an index (or list) of what records they have of a particular unit. I have never had to pay a cent for an index, even ones with several pages. Once you get the index, you will have an idea of what types of documents are available. Having that info will help you in working with a researcher.
