    Thanks for the likes. I saw picture on my FB page. I thought it said the plane was WW2 vintage and in the Pacific. . In any case, the photo caught my attention.

    Explains a great deal. Placed rather than dumped/crashed and only some 8/9 years ago. Thanks for the info.

    Indeed. At first glimpse it was apparent it went in without the engines running. No prop damage.
