The Headstone Application has the wrong Division. The 157th Infantry was part of the 45th Infantry Division. The 43rd ID served in the Pacific. Mistakes do happen, but what is unfortunate in this case is that it becomes carved in stone -- literally. :(

You may have already found this, but here is the synopsis for his DSC on the website Home of Heroes:

The President of the United States takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously) to Jack H. Blumberg (0-438576), Second Lieutenant (Infantry), U.S. Army, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy in action against enemy forces in October 1943. Second Lieutenant Blumberg's intrepid actions, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty at the cost of his life, exemplify the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.
Headquarters, Fifth U.S. Army, General Orders No. 23 (1944)
    Home Town: Berks County, Pennsylvania
