    I wonder why the Germans didn't teach them to goose step?

    I thought I'd share these.
    A co-worker, whose father was present at this scene, explained these women were French collaborators who had been found out. In order to deter others, their heads were shaved in public.     In case anyone was wondering, this pic is supposed to be one of a Polish cavalryman attacking the German motormen in September 1939.

    First thing that catches my eye is the ship to the left has a quad 40mm mount on the #2 main battery turret, the one to the right had three 20mm oerlikons mounted atop it's #2 turret.
