Hello everyone, I have rather sad news to bare today, tomorrow will be my last day on the forums as I leave on my mission to Charleston West Virginia on Tuesday. I will be absent from the forums until my return in February of 2021, but I have asked gtblackwell to give a monthly report on my whereabouts, and how the morale is doing, to which he kindly and graciously obliged. These past two years on the forum have been fantastic, I've learned so much, and have met so many fantastic people across the world who share the same passion as me. I will return to the forums when I get back, and hopefully I'll be a much wiser and mature member (that's a big hope!). If any of you would like to email me personally, message me sometime today and tomorrow, and I'll give you my email adress. Otherwise my good friend Gaines will give everyone monthly updates in a different thread! Thank you to all who have helped me grow and learn, many of you have been great examples not just in your historical knowledge, but how you carry yourselves as people. Goodbye for now! Happy trails everyone........As MacArthur promised....I shall return......
I don't know what your new adventure is, but I wish you well with it and with everything else. Don't be a stranger.
You will be challenged. Remember He only places in front of you what He knows you can handle. God Bless and God speed. Bob
Hopefully, I will still be around to welcome you back in two years time, but, if I am not, then G-d speed in your mission ! Best regards Ron
Thank you Ron, In the very slight chance that you are not still around, I want to say thank you once more for your service, I barely know you, but I feel such a great appreciation for you and the millions of men like you who served in the second world war. When my children ask if I knew any WW2 vets, I will be proud to say I knew Ron Goldstein....In the meantime, I wish the best of health and happiness, I will look forward to speaking with you again!
