Okay, there are WWII era landing craft out there (LCVP's and LCM-3's) and there are Vietnam era boats (Swift boats and PBR's and some specialty craft). So where are the plain ol' LCM-6 and LCM-8's in a decent scale? Us kit bashers would love to get hold of those as they lend themselves to so much. Anyway, If anybody has access to decently priced 1/48 or 1/35 scale LCM-3 kits please let me know. I'll even take one already assembled as I'm building a Navy dive boat out of it.
    Thanks.

    I've seen a -8 1/24 scale motorized going for just under $300.

Looks like I'll go with plans from The Floating Drydock, and build my own.
