Hello. My name is David Wyatt, and I go by Dave. I am former U.S. Navy and was a Machinist's Mate 3rd Class and Lieutenant (Special Duty - Cryptology). I have always had an interest in the Second World War (among others). I am 64 years old (in a few weeks). My father was a tank commander in Korea. I am presently helping a friend research information regarding his father who served in the Navy in World War II.

Welcome. The people here are quite good at helping research ww2 service records. Consider starting a thread in the info request or other relevant sub forum.

Hi David. We'll do what we can to help. I hope you follow lwd's advice and start a new thread. Use the name of the person you're researching in the title. It will generate more responses that way. Consider putting it in the Information forum.
