Well, it seems that taking notes in meetings that discuss treason is not a nice thing to do. Like taking all of the donuts in the breakroom back to your office. Not nice. Not against the law. Retroactively making documents "Secret" is poor form also. Nothing you can get judge to hear about.

thinking comey got a pass on the effbe eye document he had in his safe, then later gave to a friend asking him to give it to the media.

reading that a charge might not stick to the wall if they prosecuted on that.

the real justice - i hope- will come from his signature on an illegal fisa application. ..knowingly lyin' (james comey) signed the document.

I gambled and gave 4 weeks notice for four days VAC, the first week of September. Monday is a holiday for us.
hoped there would be a storm regarding the most interesting/ important news/ actions of our recent history .
I would bask in the sun, getting drunk during the day, sipping liberal tears to rehydrate.
if next week proves to be full of news, I will be online a lot.
if my prediction of big news is wrong, I still have a week off, and a lot of party time.

A serious mis-reading of US law. As FBI director, Comey was a 'original classifier' of any DOJ material he might include in a meme or any public document. Comey did violate DOJ policy and rules by taking his memo's home and then publicly releasing one in a redacted form. This however is not a chargeable crime. Any number of possible results might have been imposed ranging from a verbal warning, to a letter of reprimand to termination could have been issued.

As it was Comey was fired, but not for this. He was fired for not quashing a investigation into Michael Flynn who ultimately plead quilty to a crime in order to forstall multiple charges against both himself and his son.

Comey wasn't charged for many reasons. Even in the Donald's distopian America we don't have pre-crime laws and the memo was classified after it was written and after Comey was fired. There are also whistle blower statutes on the books and this alone would offer a defense to any charge. The primary reason though is that if any charges were brought forward, Comey would be entitled to discovery against Trump, Barr and the DOJ.

The Donald doesn't dare open that can of worms.

again, my readings suggest he wasn't prosecuted because it could possibly not "stick".
