Owen's fourth stop was at George Washington's Mount Vernon, the restored estate of the United States first President. Part of the collection is this beautiful item, a set of Washington's dentures. These help dispel the myth that his teeth were made of wood, when in fact these are an assembly of a variety of teeth, human, bovine, and equine.

Our photos of those famous teeth. Those springs look nasty to have in your mouth.

Come all the way to the States to see some Old Fob"s teeth when you could have come to Alabama.
