    harry nilson was a sick puppy.
    he wrote some amazing stuff.
    this may be my all time favourite video. at a time when music videos were in their infancy.
    so funny when the spoon breaks, not once- but twice.
    buddy hardly missed a beat.

    Only been dead close to a hundred and ten years. Lots of folks been dead longer than that.

    The surgery isn't that big a deal, it's learning to walk in hi-heels afterwards that is dangerous.

    heaps of covers of this...even the Beatles covered this, and yet...The flying Lizards captured the song the best. (Its a bit ahead of its time too)

    my take- the video was played constantly on the new mtv channel.
    it was hip, probably cheap to play.
    it is quirky and caught a wave.
    i liked - blister in the sun - for the same reasons.

    Medical MJ for the win post op IMO. I'm not sure if it eased the pain of the hernia op or put me in to a state that I didn't care about it. Either way it kept me on the couch for two days while I healed. Heal up dood.
