    I sorta remembered this tv series...as it only lasted for 26 episodes from 1962-63...the basic theme of the show dramatized the experiences of the fictional Able Company within the 36th Infantry Division, Fifth Army, beginning with the division's amphibious landing at Salerno, Italy, on September 9, 1943...I think I'll order the dvd set and recheck it out again.

    I remember I enjoyed it much more than Combat.
