Can you post a photo of the makers mark on the canteen body without the straps obscuring it.
Is there anything stamped on the metal hanger after the letters HRE?
Are there any markings on the neck of the canteen?

It's a post war canteen. The lack of a date stamp is the main indication that it was made after WW2.

How much did you pay for it?
