Doing some research on an Alexander Todt who tried to escape from Britain with a married British woman in 1946, but only got as far as Calais. He was supposedly Fritz Todt's son, former Afrika Korps captured at Bardia, and supposedly a student in Britain prewar. Trouble is, the sources contradict each other; one says Todt had a son (Alexander) and two daughters, another says he had one son (Fritz) and a daughter called Ilsebill, yet another said his two daughters laid a memorial stone on his grave in the early 2000s. Getting nothing else online, so wondered if anyone knew more background on Todt's family. I can't even find his wife's name, but would really be useful to get his son's name and story.
Any idea how many kids he actually had? EDIT: got details on Elsbeth Kramer (nee Muller) on a german wiki. turns out she was a widow (and eight years Fritz's senior) when she married him in 1921. They had three, possibly four kids; two daughters, and a son called Fritz who was a fighter pilot killed in 1944. So if this Alexander is even related, he may have been a stepson from her first marriage. The plot thickens.
Searching AHF only came across the wife's name. Nothing on the children. Saw you just posted over there, hopefully you will have some luck.
