Dear forumists, Happy to join the crowd and the crews, as I saw some very interesting evidence posted here. On my side, I have a huge interest in the Battle of the Bulge, not because it happened in my little country, but also because it (finally) slowly emerges as one of the most deadly and important battles on the European soil in WW2. My resources are limited, but for example, for the moment I try to debug the Stoumont/Cheneux battles - which suffer in the official reports and some books of incredible confusion (e.g. North and South are happily interchanged in some vets reports). When in doubt, I try and confirm the facts "on the ground". But witnesses of these troubled times becoming extremely rare, I use metal detecting for spotting relics and install evidences and facts. Later (much later), when I will have more time, I'd like to combine this with my photo hobby and produce "now and then" superposing images. I will be delighted to hear from you - and yes, if you who live abroad need a scout or an eye in certain precise places, i'll happy to do that, as long as agenda permits.
Thank you Jeff ! History might be 75 years young, there still are patches that might benefit of extra lighting !
Cheers Claude. Use the search mode and also you can find interesting stuff from 'lesser known details.' Wellcome!
