Listening to the radio today, Triple J is having a competition to find people's best 3 songs of all time...As usual my head went blank immediately...then a few songs started to bubble up. This is not an easy exercise!
Every time one settles on a trio, something else creeps in...it's difficult to leave songs from bands like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin (not an American in sight!) - But my three don't involve them despite being a huge fan of these bands...So, my three are going to be (not in order):
    Mozart: Loudate Dominum
The Sundays: Heres where the story ends.
    The Clouds: Fox's Wedding

Special mention to Metallica: Master of Puppets

VERY interested in hearing what music turns on the rogues of this forum.

Funny you should ask CAC...my taste varies from classical music to classic rock..depending on my mood...coming home tonight had the truck cranked up to the Chambers Brothers with Time Has Come Today...the extended 11:06 FM version...should been used in the movie Apocalypse Now..which had also had my classical favorite in The Ride of the Valkyries performed by the the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra ..as for my third....the Rolling Stones with Gimme Shelter.....rock on.

I have too many favorites so picking just three would be impossible ! But I'd have to say Marty Robbins "El Paso" is the one that sits at the top of my list. 40's Big Band & Swing occasionally, 50's - 60's Rock and Roll anytime, the 70's Classics, Country music up til' the 1980's, every Barbra Mandrell song (love of my life and she Never knew).

Never ever want to hear disco again!

As of right now! Ten minutes from now it will be different.

Rolling Stones' "I can't get no...(satisfaction)" The theme song of my early youth!
Simon and Garfunkle's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" Seldom equaled and never surpassed in power!
Debussy's "Clair de Lune" When I need to relax

I am sooooo old. Anyway, when I started they have been my hits from 1980.
I did start with Beach Boys and Jan and Dean, Abba, Blondie but in 1980 I started getting "serious" i.e. collecting albums/cassetes.

    1. Yazoo: DonĀ“t go
    2.OMD: Enola Gay
    3. Bowie: Ashes to ashes

    Special mention goes to:

I was hoping to lip sync this at our 50th anniversary but covid kept it to a party for two. It was an awesome party.

Cool..."Thunderstruck" over "Long way to the top"...And Jefferson Airplane...not "White Rabbit"?

Not only one of my favourite songs, but Grace looks ravishing in this...
