For many years I have searched for a photo of the following aircraft, if anyone can help I would be most grateful B-24D-CO US serial 41-1097 British serial LV341 - Liberator IIIA Allocated to 120 Squadron RAF Coastal Command. Code Z/120 Lost 13 August 1942. I have full details of the aircrafts history and loss.
Below is my research into the loss of Liberator LV341 on 13th August 1942. Of the crew of eight four were lost, my father amongst them. As I have already said, any info further info re this loss and a photo of the aircraft would be most appreciated. Thank you.
