Peaky Blinders on Netflix. Violent, bloody, and bloody good acting. World War I tunnel heroes. Totally awesome but sometimes the heavy British accent is hard to pick up and I have to put the sound way up and then turn it back down when the factory scenes kick in. Birmingham, Camden Town, London. Much sex, does it matter? Let’s have a drink, and often.

Morning Biak...if you like humour, and who doesn't. May I recommend the Australian classic "The Castle"? or "Fat pizza vs Housos"

Or some Jim Jefferies...An Australian who lives in America these days...very funny and very down to earth. This was one set that had me in stitches...

Or his famous gun control routine...

Last thing I watched World War II related was Enemy at the Gates, about a week ago. Right now I watch baseball and Heartland on Netflix.

That’s the last movie I saw in the theater before the shutdown. I have not been back since.

Godzilla v. Kong. This franchise just keeps getting better. They've set up the next movie in this one, hopefully the streak will continue. (Or I could be hallucinating. Take your pick.)

LoL, just watched the original toho Godzilla vs King Kong, I wonder if there will be any similarities. Wondering if the Japanese are pissed they had the exclusive on Godzilla, my buddy said when he went on Japan last year Godzilla poster's toys and giant blow u
Displays were everywhere. Like to his main studio has a giant mural painted on the building. Originally the story was going to be about a giant octopus but during early planning and discussion decided that was not exciting enough . The whole suit thing was a crack up. The beast from 20,000 fathoms had come out the year before and they wanted to use stop motion photography but it was new and no one in Japan could do it also expensive and toho had a small budget. So the suit ides came up could be made to !look realistic enough and cheap. The whole suit development was s laugh too, the first suit was so heavy the actor walked ten meters fell and couldn't move he was totally spent the suit weighed 220 pounds so suit number two, still close to two hundred but manageable, scenes took a long time as several actors were needed to complete a shoot as the average time was ten minutes that an actor would last. The suit had no joints so moving was hard and no ventilation some actors would pass out from the heat under the studios lights. I'm sure over the years they got better and lighter. One of the actors that played Godzilla was later Gargantua not sure which one maybe both.

Almost zero similarities. The original was meant for kids, this one is ... elegant for lack of a better word. They give a clue as to the next movie in the franchise as well.

Just finished watching the original version of Sahara for the first time. What a bloody good film. The Belushi remake is on practically weekly, but the Bogart one never seems to be.
Also saw Secret Invasion with Stewart Granger and Mickey Rooney. Spaghetti war movie is a good description, but great level of historical accuracy in uniforms etc. Also fair to say The Dirty Dozen was a remake of the idea.

Sahara with Bogart is one of my favorite movies. Tried to find it a couple of years back but couldn't find it. Used to be on YouTube but got taken off because of copyright. Got a roku last year really kewl type in the movie it search for free sites and list pay sites and how much. One of the free sites hsd it watched it two days in a row. Watched it recent on internet archives and see digital archives. When I was searching I found the remake with Belushi and of course the Brooke Shields and mcconaughey. Like really a Confederate ironclad in the Sahara. Gee Matthew how'd they get enough coal to get there etc. I liked the combat scene when the M3 has both canons firing and the mg turret. One company came out with one in my scale 1/144 but now OOP for years haven't seen one on eBay for years now but f-toys has a new collection set with a Lee need a Grant now, anyway one of my future acquisitions.

I saw one in my scale from f- toys now I'm chopping the bit wanting to get the collector set. Also just SSW an ad can't remember what site for s new 35th scale Lee. Look great start with the bottom plate and build the engine compartment with radial engine, complete fighting compartment. The hull in multiple parts, front and rear. Sides deck hatches, looked super detailed can't remember who the manufacturer was. Thanks for the info
