When skywave came out with a bunch of new escort kits my buddy and I were ecstatic. But when we examined then closely we noticed that the rake was way off. Now it was funny they could get it right on the Japanese ships. Made us wonder if this was a slur on the Americans, like their still pissed we sank their navy the Japanese navy was a national pride thing the Yamato was a huge thing to the Japanese as they did steel drives to collect enough steel. Just like the drives here for aluminum the pictures of huge piles of pots and pans and other aluminum products gathered by cities and towns. Anyway a few years later all the major waterline companies were retooling their kits. Haven't bought a new ship in years did they ever get that rake fixed. Ended up slicing the deck loose at the rake point put in wedges and reshape the rake.
