    Anyone not familiar with the story of the USS Johnston should read "The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors".

    An amazing read. Thanks for sharing it. The whole battle off Samar is a fascinating. I think I'll reread Last of the Tin Can Sailors.

    It’s good that they’ve located the “GQ Johnny” finally after all these years. It’s a little deep for recreational divers so they won’t be able to do any grave robbing.
