We may disagree on the exact date, but military events intimately related to the beginning of the great cataclysm started in 1937 when the first two major combatants went at it. Regional conflict? Not for long.

I'll be 87 then, if I'm still on the right side of the sod. I doubt I'll be all that much help. I'm glad Otto is keeping Hyperwar running.

I'll do my best to keep things going for as long as I can. Hell, I've outlived most of those I've cared for and threw out my "Bucket List" today knowing that shit ain't going to happen. (Mods feel free to edit language)
According to the medical establishment I might have another 12 to 14 years left. And that's just the average lifespan. So far I've outlived three dentist, four doctors.

73 one month, 4 days. I've lived longer than either parent. Ten years longer than the Y-donor.

I'm 76. I guess that means I'll be 90. I fully expect to make it. I told my doctor I'm shooting for 100.

Historians are standing by to record for the ages the first instance of a wife giving sympathy to her husband...

I would be 92. That could be pushing it. But, my mom lived to be 105. She was born in 1915 and died in 2020.. I think there was some kind of pandemic around that time, 1916? But she, her sister and parents lived through it.

The Purple Death, also known at the Flu Pandemic of 1918 was my first thought.

I’m shooting for 110. Only because I want to be a pain in the arse for as long as I can and just can’t wait to see what the next 30 or 40 years is going to be like.

I've outlived two wives, out stubborned a third, so I don't want to outlive this one. She has a special skill, she deals with me. Can't ask for more than that.
