I'm watching the Secret War again, I just wish the BBC would put this brilliant series back on sale again, in the mean time I must try to re-record them to DVD.
History Channel in Asia has been screening WW2: Lost Films. Managed to catch some episodes. Pretty good as they showcase 12 different characters, some voiced by Hollywood actors, participating in the European and Pacific theatres. And all footages are in colour.
Sawlast night: No Time For Sergeants w/ Andy Griffith, Nick Adams, Myron McCormick, Don Knotts and Dub Taylor. Excellent service comedy ;-))
Got it coming up quick in my Netflix cue. I haven't watched it in 20 years or so. Hope it's as good as I remembered!
In Tranzit (2008) With Malkovich and Kretschmann... In the winter of 1946, in Leningrad, a group of German prisoners of war are sent to a female transit camp by the cruel Russian Commander Pavlov. When they arrive, the Russian female soldiers show the hostility to the enemies that have killed their husbands, families and friends... I give 7 out of 10. Not incredible but well done and a couple of great actors there... In Tranzit (2008) - Plot Summary
Lately I've been watching and re-watching the series on "Hitler's Bodyguards". Overall, I think it's pretty informative. Buzz

My buddy has been taping me "The Pacific", and I finally got around to watching the first five episodes. I really like it so far, although, after the comments that Tom Hanks made comparing the pacific to the war on terror, I get angry when I hear him narrarate it!!!
I watched "Hachi: A Dog's Tale" last night. It was a great movie. Not to give away any spoilers, but if you are a dog, or any animal lover you will get swept up in this movie very quickly. It is well worth a look.
Just saw a nice little known Western this evening ala TCM-called: Davy Crockett, Indian Scout. This movie starred George Montgomery. Was a nice Western with an WAY underrated actor as the lead star.
Dear Friend, i have discovered this really great forum by surfing the web about the WW2 FUN MOVIE called KELLY'S HEROES wich was made 1970 in my former native country JUGOSLAVIA !!!
