This is a common battlecry, but I didn't find a WW2 relation.

That'll do, KM - it was called 'Bungay' by the USAAF hence the sobriquet 'Bungay Buckaroos'....

New question:
Which small item did Norwegians wear as a sign of patriotism during German occupation?

This German general officer lost his youngest son at Cassino, which made him change his mind about the régime, thus changing his position after 1944.
The régime obviously took repraisals and arrested his oldest son, a former Panzer lieutenant, crippled for a serious wound received at Khárkov.
Who is he?

OK… he was a field marshal… which reduces the posibilities down to 25 guys.

Was it Field Marshal Wilhelm List?
And to through in another quick quiz, how many submarines were sunk by other submarines during WWII?

Welcome aboard, Diver! Hope you like the forum.
One: the answer's wrong. It was not Wilhelm List. Clue, it was one of the 1943 field marshals.
Two: I don't think you can't make any question until you answer one and get your turn.

Let's try Ernst Busch. It is unlikely either Kleist or Weichs is the candidate as both are a bit on the old side to have kids still running around getting shot at.

Nope.
Last hint:
The man never received his marshal's batton.

Did you mean he was promoted Field Marshal IN 1943 or BY 1943?

Hi
Was it von Richthofen received in Feb 43? (although I think Mahross got it- I don't think Paulus received his batton

Mahross' turn.
Field marshal Friedrich Paulus [he was not a Von], promoted field marshal in January 1943 and captured little later (he never received a marshal's batton or insignia).
Capt. Ernst Paulus was severely wounded at the II Battle of Khárkov in April 1942 and was dismissed from the Army.
I Lt. Friedrich Paulus was killed in action at Anzio in early 1944.
His father, whilst in Russian captivity, heard of his death and decided to support the anti-nazi movement of German captured officers, under general Walther von Seydlitz-Kurzbach. After this, Ernst Paulus and his mother, Elena Paulus (former Elena Rosetti-Solescu) were ordered to change their surname. Both refused and Ernst was arrested and sent to a concentration camp. Elena remained at home, closely watched and morally destroyed. She died in 1949.
FM Paulus didn't go back to Germany until 1954, where he knew about the death of his wife and eldest son. He died alone and depressed in Dresden in 1957, aged 67.
