Thanks for the vote of confidence Knightmove. But, I think I will let SRDO have the question. Mine always seem a bit hard to answer so I will just play along answering other's questions. If I'm right the last poster before me gets the next question. It will make things move along a bit faster....

I post a question in between...
List all gun calibres that were used to equip T-34 tanks (only battle tanks with turrets).

Even more precise than I had asked for (a source stated that the first few were equipped with 45mm gunsm, but this is probably wrong).
Continue, T. A. - you WILL find an easy one.

I see you were calling for me... OK, here is an easy question: Which was the first torpedo equipped with homing device?

I know this isn't really what you had in mind, but the Whitehead torpedo of 1906 using a gyroscopic guidance system was the first with a "homing" device as it allowed the torpedo to be guided to a target.

I suppose you gave up on that The right answer is T4, or Falke as it also known. It was electric torpedo making 20 kts with range of about 7,5 km. It was introduced in march 1943 but was soon replaced with Zaunkonig.

Well then.
The Supermarine Stranraer had some kind of "sister" flying boat, following the same specification, having the same engines, similar design and similar data. This seaplane was...?

Hint: Both planes were introduced and disused in the same years.

OK, what was the significance of an allied weapon, the A-19, to the Germans?

The Germans were going to use it to encircle York following the success of 'Operation Seeloewe'?

No ? Well, it was worth a try....

Well, it's gonna be hard to say. Do you mean the:
Vultee A-19 attack plane? Or, maybe the A-19 cruiser design that Britain didn't build or, is it the 122mm M1931 field gun of the Soviets maybe? If I really started looking, I could probably find alot of other things with the designation "A-19."

As usual Mr Gardiner is in the right direction, the A-19 (in my question) is a soviet artillery piece. I didn't really want to give too much away. So the question rephrased, is:
"What was the significance of the Soviet A-19 artillery piece to the Germans, particularily the civilians."
Ok thats handed to you on a dish...!
( In retrospect, its a crappy question but ah well. )

bzzzzt! The A-19 was the first artillery gun to fire on Berlin in WW2.
ok an easier one.
What experimental vehicle was this the one and only hull desiged for. (clue: Hitler chose a bigger vehicle one over this one in 1943)
