I was hardly active during Christmas holiday and forgot afterwards, sorry.
This movie is taking place in a town in occupied Germany after the war. It's about a problematic love of an American boy and a German girl, who gets raped by some American soldiers. Those are impeached and threatened by death penalty, which is claimed by the citizens of the town. An American lawyer is fighting for their lives, however realizing that his actions will inflict tragedy on the girl...
What's the title of this movie?

I know this movie but can't remember its title. Also never have seen it. I do remember this movie was talked about on TCM some months ago because it was being compared to movies like "Decision Before Dawn" and a few others.

Thank you Knight Move.
Name the movie which included the line: "Asps. Very dangerous. You go first."

I would say " Kelly's Heros " as the movie and guessing as to why would be trying to keep a low budget. I read that they shelled a real town that was going to be torn down for a strip mine operation and all the extras were Yugoslav Army types.

You deserve this one, your turn.
The main reason I have read was that Yugoslavia still had plenty of Shermans in service (well, and Israel had the wrong climate. )

It was Richard Burton in 'Breakthrough', a rather odd, pan-European production of 1978 directed by Andrew V. McLaglen.
Not a patch on Peckinpah's near-masterpiece....
