So, I guess I should pose a quiz:
Who was the first German soldier who received the oak leaves cluster to the Knights cross?

something different.............

What was the "net" (per month) pay for a Second Lieutenant in the 509th Composite Group, as of March 1st, 1945, with flight pay & subsistence with no dependents, minus insurance ?

How much did he take (home)(such as it was on Tinian) to risk his neck ?

Unless you have a check stub....this one's gonna be tough. So....

hint:

Between 200 and 250 Dollars.

You shoulda made me work at it more. I was an idiot thinking that "insurance" went in the plus column.

Oh well, bear with me. Here is my Q again, the prize for getting the question sorta answered correctly.
