Re: WWII Forums Quiz Part VII
From the first morning of Barbarossa until the end of the war, approximately 600 Luftwaffe aircraft were reportedly 'downed' by Soviet ramming attacks.
What was the Russian term for this type of attack ?

Re: WWII Forums Quiz Part VII
On May 8th 1945, at 0.10am a Heinkel took off from Oslo, flew towards England, then Antwerp, France and finally Spain. It may seem incredible, but it was never intercepted. It finally ran out of fuel and belly landed near San Sebastian. One of the passengers had his arms and legs broken and had to be operated several times and stayed at an hospital in Spain for months. When the crowd saw his SS uniform they sreamed " it's Hitler, it's Hitler". Of course it wasn't him. So who was this fugitive?

Re: WWII Forums Quiz Part VII
I guess that makes me the Quiz Commander!
Here goes, and it's a three-parter. On D-Day, who was the first Allied soldier to destroy a panzer using a portable anti-tank weapon, what was the weapon, and where did he make his kill?
You get brownie points if you can tell me at what time the panzer was detroyed.
