Since I was the last Quiz master and having no response from Vince for several weeks, I'll carry on: Which rank is the German equivalent of Wing Commander?

Probably an easy one for y'all.

What is the only state in the US not to have a launched & commissioned battleship named for it?

Alaska/Hawaii (CB 1 & CB 3) not BBs, and the proposed "Montanas" four triple 16" turrets and 925 feet long, 28 kts, five ships which became six "Midway" class (CVB) carriers.

so...Montana ?

Thanks Slip,

What was the most common stove used in the desert for "Brewing-up", possibly invented by the Desert Rats, and what was the little superstition/reason? that went with/in the water ?

OK OK

It was a gas "tin" half full of sand with some fuel. It would burn for half an hour, and a "Stick" was floated in the water to (as if) absorb the gasoline smell.

New question;

Who commanded the 7th Armored Brigade at the battle of Sidi Rezegh, November 1941, and made a "Splendid" little bronze casting of a Jeroba to commemorate the event ?
