I think not, guv'nor, the Hobart (Perth class) had two stacks.

Yes, was going to say not Ajax, "X" turret is not there, which makes it either Leander or Achilles. On both of them it was replaced with twin anti-aircraft mounts. I believe.

You are right. Looked at the wrong caption for the photos. HMS Leander at Portsmouth 1946 coming out of refit.

One of the ships that was shooting at my dad (aboard the Fanshaw Bay) during the Battle off Samar.

It got sunk instead.

An up-armored version of the Trentos Bolzano.
75% of which had some very bad luck once upon a time.

Had to clip the stern, because they do tag their vessels.
