Looks like one of the "missing links" between the Heinkel He 118 and the early water cooled engined D4Y Judy.
BTW is the top of the tailplane painted white and confused with the background?

Definitely Japanese... definitely a prototype... was it inspired by the P-38?
EDIT: I have it, Tachikawa Ki-94.
EDIT NUMBAH 2: Yes, I know that's the plane because the picture is on Google. I was about to choose the same plane Jagdtiger did (Aichi M6A1 Seiran floatplane). But how id your plane the Aichi M6A1 and it doesn't have pontoons?

I can see the US Air Force symbol half covered up by the starboard engine and wing... obviously a prototype bomber that never entered service/wasn't as renowned as the B-17, 24, 25 +29...
