Re: Name that plane
Yes it's the IK-3 I was looking for Kurska's plane an that was my first guess ...
BTW the Renard (Belgium) and IK-3 (Yougoslavia) are the first and last fighters in the edition of William Green's book on ww2 planes I have.
Over to you

I always believed WW1 ended in 1918
The only thing I can think of with that wing shape is the Junkers 86 high altitude variants but it's obviously not it (too few engines for one thing).
It looks very clean areodinamically for the 1920s but the setting looks like something somebody built in his backyard.

Re: Name that plane
I don't know why, but Curtiss came to mind, but I can't find anything from them like that.

Ok well nobody seems to know it, or everyone just forgot about this forum so I will tell you it is from either Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.

Hi guys ... As usual, I just popped by to have a 'look-see' and think I've scored a direct hit with ... The Lithuanian Dobkevicius D.I ...

Not to put too fine a point on it, but according to THIS site, I believe that's the D.II (Dobi II), NOT the D.I
D I.
D II.

Well Lou ... The caption that accompanied the photo I found that was the same shot JagdtigerI posted described it as the D.I ... But I have to agree (after further 'Googling') that you are correct ... It would appear it is the D.II ... ... Which makes it your go !!
