Re: Name the Setting
I guess I'll take a go then.
1) Timeframe shown by the Typhoon Rocket.
2) Captured much later than objectives initially denoted.

Re: Name the Setting
Carpiquet Airfield, Normandy July '44 during Operation Windsor.
My go I believe...
1) A tree on a grand rock.
2) Room service not included.
3) Not what it seems on a right click.

Re: Name the Setting
The rescue of Mussolini? I don't know the details and location of it, though.

Aha! Feeling sharp tonight eh?
Spot on, Operation Oak (Eiche) on Gran Sasso (Great Stone)... one of the few positives of an otherwise poor year for the 3rd Reich. Incredible op though, and they had a camera with them too; German Prop. film here;

Re: Name the Setting
Using only the power of my mind I can see a large island surrounded by bright blue seas, it's hot and to the west lies a large continent begining with the letter A... the mists descend... my connection to the other world is severed...

Yes the hotel is still there and doing business.
The right click clue comes from some folk* who put up images and you right click them, view them "solo" and they're named something rather obvious like "Kasserine Pass", I always rename mine to something they're not and sometimes folk fall right into my trap.
*This might include you, as this latest one is named after a large island off the African coast.

Re: Name the Setting
lol is that a cryptic answer or what? That's true for the answer, but it's also true for dozens, even hundreds of islands. Unless the misty part has something to do with it.

Re: Name the Setting
Well the Zambezi does send a mist eastwards in the morning... have you sussed the right click bit yet? Right click on your image, select view image and read the file name up the top... try the same on mine and you can see I'm a little slyer...
