Well, it appears that i will give up the answer i had here-it says Thomas Cooper was awarded a Wound Badge in Silver...."only Briton to receive a German decoration...."

Name the only US Division to participate in the South Pacific, Southwest Pacific, Philippines Campaigns and continue on to do occupation duty in Japan.
