My oh My!
I read it in a review ( in Finnish) of his book and he calls himself "Greycap" in one place...Don´t know the history to it though...
Wow!
Ok, so here´s the next question:
What did engineer Hauptsturmführer Wim Brandt and Professor Otto Schick create?

OK.
Keeping to the uniform theme, who designed the double lightening design for the "Schutzstaffel"?
And, on a side note, how much was he paid?

Well thank you all and here is the question.
This person was born at Franfurt-am-oder on 14 September 1886. During WWI, he served in several staff posts and was retained in the Reichswehr afterwards. He developed an interest in mobile tactics and the tanks needed to implement them. By 1938, he had risen to the rank of major-general and was commander of the 1st light division based in Thuringia. He led the XVI Korps during the invasions of Poland and France. He led the 4th Panzergruppe in Barbarossa. he was relieved of command when he authorized a tactical retreat during the Russian counteroffensive and discharged from the Army.
Who is he and what how did he meet his end?
