Forest W. Crow Jr.
(1922 - 2007)

Forest W. Crow Jr., 85, of Bryan,Ohio died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Harborside Healthcare Northwestern Ohio-Bryan, where he had been a resident the past two weeks.
Born Oct. 2, 1922, to Goldie (Burdette) and Forest W. Crow Sr., he married Joanne L. Klinepeter on Sept. 30, 1944, at Fostoria, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 2007.
A World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps, he was an engineer with the ARO Corp. for more than 33 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan. He was also a member of Bryan Moose Lodge No. 1064, where he served as secretary for many years.
A former member of Orchard Hills Country Club, where he also worked in the pro shop, he was an avid bowler and was the first certified PBA Bowling Professional from Bryan.
Surviving are four sons, Jim (and wife, Mimi) Crow, John (Sherry) Crow, Terry Crow and Patrick (Tonya) Crow, all of Bryan; three daughters, Sally Crow of Bryan, Jane (and husband, John) Dietsch of Edgerton and Mary (Denny) McCann of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Crow of Mount Vernon and Mary Crow of Fostoria; and a brother-in-law, Jack Klinepeter of Arlington, Va.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eugene and Ralph Crow.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with scripture services to be held at 8 p.m. in the Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, with Father Charles Ritter to officiate. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic School or the American Lung Association.
