Harry A. Goldenetz

DEFIANCE - Harry A. Goldenetz, 85, of Defiance,Ohio died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at his residence.
Born Dec. 5, 1922, at Defiance, to Helen (Moore) and Harry A. Goldenetz, he married Mary Ann Moser in 1961, and she preceded him in death in 2003.
An Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, he had been employed as an engineer at Aro Corporation in Bryan, Ohio Art in Bryan, Defiance Precision Products and Napoleon Products. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a life member of VFW No. 3360.
Surviving is a brother-in-law, Donald Moser of Bryan.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Phyllis Eyre; and two brothers, Robert and William Goldenetz.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Mast-Mock-Hoffman-Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, with a vigil service at 8 p.m.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. IsadoreÕs Catholic Church, rural Defiance, with the Rev. Father David Tscherne to officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Defiance County, with graveside military rites by VFW No. 3360.
Memorials may be made to hospice.
