Thomas C. Mills
(1922 - 2008)
Thomas C. Mills, 85, of Bryan,Ohio died Friday, March 14, 2008, in his home after a brief illness.
Born Oct. 7, 1922, in Bryan to Fern (Combs) and Lewis Mills, he married Bette J. Robinett on Oct. 12, 1944, and she survives.
A veteran of the Army Air Corps, he served during World War II and then retired as a major in the Air Force Reserves. He worked as an engineer at Ohio Gas Co. and Hayes Albion.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Connie Sabins of Harrisburg, N.C., and Kathy (and husband Ted) James of Bryan; son Mark (Deb) Mills of Hamilton, Ind.; four grandchildren, Aric (Kris) Sabins of Roxboro, N.C., Tiffani (Jason) Cochran of Harrisburg, N.C., Nathan (Thonda) James of Bryan, and Christine Mills of Hamilton, Ind.; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Don Mills; one grandson, Tyrone James; and a son-in-law, Wes Sabins.
Graveside services will be on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in Brown Cemetery, rural Bryan, with Pastor Dee Custar officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be given to a Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice Care or a charity of the donor's choice.
