Red face Cpl. Clifford L. Thomas Jr. (USMC)

USMC Cpl. Clifford L. Thomas Jr. has passed away on 09/29/2009, a decorated veteran of the Battle of Tarawa, 2nd Marine, 2nd Division, 3rd Battalion, Co. I, landed on Red Beach One and managed to survive until the late afternoon before getting wounded by an enemy grenade. He was taken back to Pearl, before being transported to San Diego MCB where he finished his career by becoming an Corporal in the Military Police. He will be greatly missed.
