Post Henry James Rickers ~ U.S. Army

Henry Rickers was born August 20, 1925, in rural Erie, CO, to Adolf and Margaret Rickers. He passed away on September 24, 2009, at home, in the arms of his wife of 62 years, surrounded by his family.

His memory lives on through his wife, Marjorie Rickers; his children, Leslie Noble, Susan Sosine (Russ) and Clay Rickers (Debbie); his grandchildren, Jamie Lee (RObert), Cory Roller (Willie), Jeff and David Sosine, Cole Zach and Ty Rickers; his great-grandchildren, Hannach and James Roller, Bobby and Jory Lee; his son-in-law, Bill Noble; and his sister Shirley Nelson, her daughters Janet, Judy and Kathy and their families.

He was a selfless man of unlimited optimism and felt "rich" with the love of his family. He welcomed each day with joy and hope. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Leyte, Philippines. A private service has been held.
