I'm sure any German panzer division commander would have given his eye teeth to have even a few of some of the plethora of specialist vehicles the US had for tank recovery or repair such as:

High speed tractors up through 38 ton with a 50 ton drawbar ability. Fully tracked. (The Allis Chambers M 18... I think I have the number right.)

3 and 5 ton wreckers on 6 x 6 chassis'

The bulldozer

The M 26 tank transporter "dragon wagon"

Various body styles of 6 x 6 truck like

Oil field body (useful for hauling large heavy parts included a frame that folded out over the rear for loading and unloading)

Various machine shop bodies

Trucks with integral A frame rails and chain falls.

Trucks with integral winches to 100,000 pull in some cases.

Back hoe attachments.
