I was up late last night reading some of the computer translations and methinks we have a gold mine here! If there's one thing it all underscores though it is the fact that you should not use idioms if you want to make yourself understood to people not of your native tongue. Heck I make an effort to avoid my Minnesota idioms when I travel outside of my home state (Yes there are regional differences in the USA).
