Hello.
The Game is called Sudden Strike - a WWII game Real-Time Strategy. It hasnt hit the US big yet, but everyone in Europe has it. It includes all types of Units and three Campaigns: Allies, Germans, Russians plus Stand Alone maps and Multiplayer. The Allies go through Normandy etc, Germans and Russians through Stalingrad (about mission 7 of maybe 12.) Sudden Strike Forever is the addon, bringing more Units and the ability for tanks etc to reverse. I urge any wargamer to get this game - as it is challenging on all levels. Its got be hooked and i've been playing this past week. Do a search for Sudden Strike to get to the webpage, but i must warn you, not a lot of the sites are in English as it is big in Europe.

The games website is at:
http://www.suddenstrike.com
It's a real-time strategy game so there is only limited compliance with reality, but it's a lot of fun too.

Hey Otto,
I take it that you have sudden strike? If you are ever on the Gamespy Arcade, look for NAA Mussolini (me) and maybe we can get a game going. I only play SSForever online though, as it is far better then Sudde Strike and because SS doesnt seem to work on my comp. I think i need to install it into another directory...

Mussolini, are you still playing SSF, are you playing SS2 or have you moved onto bigger and better games since?

Hey Otto
It has been a long time since i have played either of them, but i found them to be very enjoyable (and now you have sparked my interest in playing them once more, online of course). Want a game sometime?

Sounds like a plan to me.
Cant play until around 9PM EST though - rest of the family uses the computer until about that time (but then it is all mine!) and will have to install it etc etc.
