Well, as I think about it, if someone else wants to play as a smaller country like Finland, I will take over the reigns of the US forces.
In fact, yes, with Baron's permission
CvM requests transfer the the United States of America.

Ha haa...Now the transformation into Stalin is close to complete...Finland, we need the land and its strategic position...I want it...I must have it...
Anyway, IŽd want the part of isthmus of Karelia and some islands in front of Leningrad just in case I could defend the area better. I know the Finns are "mad" so I would not really want the whole country unless necessary like big battles in Nordic countries would be going on, and by then I think even Sweden would be in war...
Well, just one view at the moment on it.

Red Baron, Im teavelling too much at the minute to be allocated a country, but would have loved Japan....Never mind.
But I'll be more than pleased to help you when the thing gets going in helping you find any information on orders of battle, infrastructure of forces and countries, etc on the net and elswhere if there are ever any stalemates or heated discussions, which knowing this lot on here there will be..Not a slur just an observation because of the immense knowledge base of the flaming too well informed people that habitate our home here.

Just a note to everyone. Red has gone on holiday. So any question about the campaign can be aimed at me. Either by email, PM or right here.

CvM - I would have thought there will be no prob with that as long as their is someone who wants to take over the reign of your country.
Brad - I'm not 100%. I will check for you when he gets back. I would have thought you'll have control of the empire but not the commonwealth of which Canada, NZ and Australia were members.

hey everyone
currently in Levanto, Italy (Med Sea) and will be home come Aug 3. Redbaron - send me private message if anything important has come up in past month. i will be able to play in game as Italy.
and for those interested, i have taken lots of pictures. i saw a couple of Bunkers in/around Dieppe - didnt get to take many pictures (very tricky when biking at 18MPH with 30lbs of gear on bike) but i did take a few. i will see if i can get them online once they are developed. weather has been friendly thru England, France, and Switzerland - mostly sunny and very hot. 13K 2478Meter (height) climb over the Alps was incredible - Nufenen (sp?)Pass was awesome! Pisa and Florence come up in next 2 days and 4 days later will literally roll into Rome at the end of a 94 Mile ride. Will be back in the states soon (and sorry for posting this here! time is short!)

What about outside of Europe? My first choice in such a game would be Japan, though I assume that is taken...

Vermillion,
Japan has not been given to anyone yet but will probably be thrown in at a later date. This is quite a large projetc for me and Red, and the other people who have offered to help. So for that fact it is limited to europe but like i say may expand. It depends on what surprises we have planned. If you want a country contact Red Baron and he will give one to you.
