You guys know too that there is a PC version of the game called Pacific Assualt that is coming out too. It looks even better than Rising Sun.

Cant wait for it to come out. Thinking about buying Rising Sun for PS2 after XMAS (will hopefully have some money to spend) and the one for the PC too. How do you guys find Breakthrough? I definately found it to be challenging at times - and how great is the first mission?!? Sticks you right in the middle of a million guys during a Sand Storm (not to mention driving a tank around for a bit)

Bought it the other day (for PS2) when it came out in the UK (came with a neat free ammo can!)and must say it is just as good as the first one. Some neat kit, Pearl Harbour much better than I thought, and a lot more co-operation, rather than just blast away. Having a two player option was also good; meant my kids could play with me, and it justified buying it!
Highly recommended.

they finally incorporated 2 Player? I am guessing it is only Co-Op though...1 v 1 head to head wouldnt be very fun unless they have some smart AI Bots. Right? I think i am going to have to get it for PS2.

Warning spoiler:
Rising Sun is dissappointing. I breezed through it in a matter of hours. The game ends suddenly and abruptly halfway through the storyline....It was a good game for the actual time you play though.
Im more stuck on Secret Weapons Over Normandy for PS2 right now anyway...

Rising Sun does not give anything new compared to the Frontline, I think, but it is great "fun"...and the places should be quite authentic.Saw a clip on the making of the game.
In Pearl Harbor the view is interesting though I am not supposed to be looking around but shoot those Japs´ planes down. And the planes do fall too easily down..During my first encounter I shot some 25 planes down...
Maybe the internet playing would be more interesting, I guess. One day, one day...

my co-op option doesnt work...it's getting annoying and my friend told me you needed another ps2 for it to work. I don't think that's true...
