this is a great World War II game played by thousands of people around the globe. If you havent tried it, you should. It features all theatres of WWII and has most of the vehicles used by every country available for you. Fly aircraft, pilot tanks, ships, Jeeps, and more. It is not a monthly payment game and is about $39.99 now.

Funny as all %$@£ too, imaging running into a tank, your mate jumping through the hatch firing the gun while you drive, getting hit, bailing out running into a pill box, nailing a couple of guys, then running again...what's that? A spitfire...lets see if...next thing you're in the cockpit you take off, there are jerries shooting at you puffs of smoke, you come around, strafe them...HAHA...come around again, what's that, more guys? Strafe them as well...oops they were british!!?? Doesn't matter... oops, smoke!! I'm hit, a me109 behind me...propellor stops turning got to bail out...bam! Crash and burned...

I liked it!! Loads of laughs but not as realistic as DOD 1.0

I'd also put my weight behind Forgotten Hope. It's much better than than 'vanilla' BF. The FH Omaha beach map is so much better than the Dice version it's unreal. Also weapon loadout and variations are much more sensible than vanilla BF.

If you play BF, you should really really really be playing Forgotten Hope!

PS. One drawback ... 1.2 Gb for the latest version...
