I was surfing around and stumbled onto this fantastic looking FPS by Ubisoft called Brothers in Arms.

The detail in the game is amazing. These folks did some serious research into putting authentic landscapes from Normandy into the program. (Consulting period aerial recon photos, walking the battlefields)

Pretty stunning actually especially the E3 trailer where two of the developers discuss (while playing) the game. The interesting twist (for me since I rarely play other FPSs that aren't WW2 based) is that you can command your two support squads.

After I build a new system in a month or so, this will be at the top of my "to buy" list.

Arrow

I have the game for PS2 and thought it was pretty good. I like how the storyline comes around in a full circle, and when you beat a level on each difficulty level it opens up so stuff on weapons, designing the game, the characters, etc. Grahpics are great, and i really like the way you can order your squad around. Much harder then Call of Duty and those types of games, but i thought it was pretty sweet. Havent played the multiplayer option yet (no one to play against here!) but looks like it could be really interesting.

HA! i've owned that game 4ever, sinse it came out i could say. and when i say i "owned it" i dont meen it was one of my belongings. the game is corny as hell. sept when you play authentic, then you die in like 3 shots, realalistic as i like em to get. i meen, any1 dies in 3 shots to the chest, or at lest dont have to will to fight. the game is awsome though. definately reccomend it for people looking for a good WWII game!

brothers in arms is definately the game for autentication, real time fighting, stardagy, tactics, just in all an awsome game. for those of you who have never played, it starts you off and Sgt. Matt Baker jumping out of a plane, getting caught in a tree, loseing all your equipment. but it goes from d-day to romels aspagus. frome st. come du mont to hill 30. this is in all an awsome game. play it on authentic and the game becomes even better, and impossable. definately a game to buy!
